主に硫酸や塩酸などの腐食性化学液体の輸送に使用されます。この車両は危険物輸送車両に分類されます。タンク本体は炭素鋼製で、耐腐食性のゴムまたはグラスファイバーで内張りされているか、あるいはステンレス鋼を直接使用することで、硫酸や塩酸などの媒体による腐食に効果的に耐えています。この車両には、緊急遮断弁、波浪防止バッフル、帯電防止装置、漏洩防止装置など、国際的に標準化された安全装置が装備されており、GB規格やADR規格などの国内外の輸送規制に適合しています。 2軸設計は3軸モデルに比べて柔軟性が高く、工場、港湾、その他の場所での短距離輸送や、複雑な道路状況の地域での作業に適しています。タンク本体は青色に塗装され、輸送中の識別を容易にするため、鮮やかなオレンジ色の反射テープが貼られている。タンク上部には作業プラットフォームとガードレールが設置されており、積み込み、積み下ろし、検査などの作業を容易にし、作業の安全性を向上させている。
